Welcome to the Dyffryn Clwyd Forum

Our Vision

The Clwyd River Catchment needs the cleanest water, sufficient water resources, and thriving natural habitats to help the local community and economy flourish.

At the Dyffryn Clwyd Forum, our aim is to make that happen.

As a Forum we work to bring people, organisations, interests, and issues together to make to turn this vision into a reality. Through our work we demonstrate that bringing different people together and harnessing their skills and interests, amazing things can happen!

Collaboration and communication

are the keys to our success.

The Forum focuses on the following areas:

Growing Local Interest and Engagement

We're on a mission to ignite curiosity, boost awareness, and inspire active involvement in the wonders of the Clwyd River and catchment.

Supporting a Localised Economy

We champion a community-focused economy that enriches the lives of everyone while minimising the environmental impact – it's a win-win!

Promoting Sustainable Flood Management

We support natural processes to help manage flood waters and risks, improving community resilience and minimising harm to natural resources – allowing ecosystems to recover.

Promoting Restorative Land Use

We advocate land use that supports local farmers and helps wildlife thrive so that people and nature can coexist.

Improving Water Quality

We are committed to improving freshwater quality. Clean water is essential for both nature and human well-being.
